A little about Desert Rose
Desert Rose Baptist Church in Wittmann, Arizona is a Christian congregation serving the Wittmann community and seeking, engaging, and encouraging others through a life-changing Christian journey.
We seek to be a loving, friendly community that worships God, and serves others. We place a high priority on teaching from the Bible and following the example of Jesus.
Our vision is to impact and renew Wittmann and beyond with the transforming message of Jesus Christ through words and actions.

Our mission is to spread the Good News and make disciples of Jesus throughout Wittman and in the surrounding areas.
History
God desires growth
Desert Rose Baptist Church originated in 1990 as a plant from June Gardens Baptist Church in Phoenix. The church started as a small Bible Study in the home of Minnie & Melvin Bigelow.
This small Bible Study was mainly comprised of older children. Many children were coming to know Jesus as their steady guide in life.
As time moved on, the Bigelows could see that God was leading them to start something new. The Bigelows asked their sister church, June Gardens, for support and the Desert Rose Baptist Church took up a physical location in Wittmann, Arizona.
